      Abraham Lee, P.T., Ph.D. received his Ph.D. degree in Exercise Science (emphasis on Exercise Physiology) from Arizona State University, an M.S. degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman's University, an M.S. degree in Exercise Physiology & Cardiac Rehabilitation from Northeastern Illinois University, and an M.S. degree in Physical Education from Yonsei University, South Korea. He did his undergraduate work (B.S.) in Physical Education at Kyungpook National University in South Korea.

      Dr. Lee teaches Clinical Pathophysiology, Applied Exercise Physiology and Cardiovascular pulmonary PT in Doctor of Physical Therapy program, College of Health Science and Human Service at the University of Toledo-Health Science Campus. The area of his research interest is metabolic adaptation in skeletal muscle and other vital organs in the body in response to exercise training with focus on glucose transport mediated by insulin and muscle contraction and fat metabolism. His research effort is directed to better understanding of intracellular mechanisms underlying training-induced improvement in carbohydrate and fat metabolism, which is essential for the prevention and treatment of obesity and diabetes mellitus.

      Dr. Lee is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, American College of Sports Medicine and the American Physiological Society.
