Minority Business Development Center

About Us

Dedicated to Changing the lives of Northwest oHIO entrepreneurs

Located on The University of Toledo Nitschke Technology Commercialization Complex campus, The University of Toledo Minority Business Development Center (MBDC) provides an ideal environment to help a selected number of established minority-owned businesses grow.

This growth is good for our community, the region, and even the global business stage. This is one of the many diversity initiatives led by the University of Toledo.

Working in partnership with local, community-based business professionals, the MBDC provides information, essential services, networking resources and more to assist early-stage companies. The MBDC helps entrepreneurs turn their ideas into viable businesses, promoting innovation and creating jobs. This strengthens the economic fibers of the community, benefiting everyone.

The MBDC is not intended to replicate existing services available to businesses or organizations, but to complement these services through a focus on minority-owned companies.
