Toledo and Northwest Ohio Historical Resources

• Toledo's Attic - A virtual museum of Toledo Ohio. Features include changing exhibits, a timeline, and a discussion board.
• Bowling Green's Center for Archival Collections - A primary source repository for many Northwest Ohio materials.

• Toledo Public Library - The local history room, located at 110th and Summit Street, in Point Place, holds many important resources for study of Toledo history.

• The Historic Old West End - The Largest neighborhood of restored late Victorian, Edwardian, and Arts and Crafts Homes in the United States. Also home to the Acklin family for a time.

Toledo and Northwest Ohio Labor Resources

• Walter P. Reuther Library - Located on Wayne State University's campus in Detroit, the Reuther Library holds the Archives of Labor and Urban affairs.

• United Auto Workers- An important Union, formed in part from the Toledo Electric Auto-lite strike of 1934, to which Acklin and many other plants in the area belonged.
