Multimedia includes audio and audiovisual recordings such as music compact discs, VHS videotapes, and DVDs (digital video discs). Supplementary material to books and periodicals in non-print formats are also stored in here. You can take a quick 'virtual tour' to get an overview of what Microform & Multimedia can offer.
Our multimedia collections are found in the Microform & Multimedia area located on the west side of the third floor of Carlson Library.
Our video collection includes both educational videos to support the university's curriculum and entertainment videos (primarily to support the Theatre and English departments). You can get an idea of the variety by checking out our list of most popular videos.

All multimedia can be checked out for 7 days, with one 7 day renewal. Fines for overdue media are $0.25 per item per day.

We can provide a group video-viewing room if you have a group of 2 or more that need to view a video together. Certain computers in the first floor reference area are available as additional DVD players.
