The University of Toledo Center for Continuing Medical Education and the Mulford Health Science Library, in a joint effort, are pleased to bring you Internet PoC (Internet Point of Care) learning. Internet PoC CME is a new format of CME that is structured, self-directed, online learning by physicians on topics relevant to their clinical practice. Learning for this activity is driven by a reflective process in which physicians must document their clinical question, the sources they consulted and how the topic applies to their practice. The objectives for Internet PoC are to describe the clinical question(s), list source(s), consult and report if the information researched applied to your practice or patient care. You may claim one-half (0.5) AMA PRA Category 1 Credit for completing the activity. A separate form must be completed for each topic researched.
To claim AMA PRA Category 1 credit, please:
You can earn up to twenty (20) AMA PRA Category 1 Credits per year for Internet PoC. Please retain a copy of the materials for your records. Once the Center for CME has received your submission, they will post the credit to your transcript. You may request a transcript of your current credits at anytime from the Center for CME by contacting them at 419.383.4237 or ContinuingMedEd@utoledo.edu. Thank you for your interest in Internet PoC Continuing Medical Education.
