The most convenient way to take advantage of all the features of the University of Toledo Dining Services programs is through one of the pre-paid meal plan programs. These meal plans offer you the ability to pick up groceries, snacks or meals, without having to carry cash or use a credit card. An added bonus is that the meal plans include three means of payment: Board Meal Credits, Dining Dollars and Rocket Card Dollars.

All meal plans include board meal credits. The board meal credits offer the student assurance of being able to eat without having to carry cash. All campus residents are required to select a meal plan. Board meal credits are used as a form of payment at the following traditional dining halls or the all-you-care-to-eat venues:
Board meal credits are non-transferable to other dining accounts, students or academic years.
Dining dollars offer students flexibility with credits built into each plan which can be spent at any of the food venues on campus. Students may use their dining dollars to entertain family members of friends at any of the food venues as well. Dining dollars may be used at any of the following venues:

Convenience Store
The dining dollars are nonrenewable, additional deposits cannot be made throughout the year to the account. Any remaining dining dollars at the end of the fall semester are transferable to the spring semester. Dining dollars will not transfer to the following academic year or carry through the summer semesters.
Rocket card dollars can be used anywhere on campus as well as participating retail locations off campus. And Rocket Dollars can be used for more than just a snack or a meal. Students and parents can add funds to the rocket card account either at the cashier’s office located at Rocket Hall or through an on-line web program at www.rocketcard.utoledo.edu. Students may also use rocket card dollars to entertain family members or friends. The rocket card can be used as a debit card payment at any one of the following locations.
