Thank you for visiting the University of Toledo College of Nursing Center for Continuing Nursing Education web site. We are dedicated to providing quality Continuing Education (CE) activities which enable nurses on-site, locally, regionally, and nationally to meet their life long continuing educational needs in a variety of learning delivery venues. We embrace the philosophy that continuing nursing education is the critical link to promoting quality, evidence based practice care throughout our diverse and dynamic health care delivery system. We strive to accomplish this promoting activities intended to provide a greater depth of knowledge and skill, enhance professional attitudes and values. We are devoted to developing CE activities which incorporate new and complex nursing knowledge as a catalyst to implement change within the individual's own practice and ultimately throughout the healthcare delivery system.

We especially proud of the stellar performance our on-line Advanced Practice Nurse course offerings. The programs have provided for the unique continuing educational needs of Advanced Practice Nurses who desire to achieve prescriptive authority within the state of Ohio. Nurses from over 24 states across the US and Canada have utilized this user friendly method of learning. We continually work to find convenient and cost effective ways to bring nurses at multiple educational levels and specialty focused practice CE activities addressing current trends in evidence based practice. Please visit the link below for complete details of our course offerings.

We invite you to visit this site often and watch us grow as we move towards making this your trusted premier source for CE activities. In addition, we are here to assist you with developing customized activities to meet the specific needs of your organization. Please call and discuss your learning needs with us. Before leaving, please take a moment to sign up for our CE event e-mail mailing list and give us your suggestions for future programs.
