ATTENTION APPLICANTS TO THE BSN PROFESSIONAL MAJOR AND GRADUATE NURSING PROGRAMS: Applications are now submitted through the Nursing Centralized Application Service (NursingCAS) https://portal.nursingcas.org, and by completing a supplemental application to the university. Program application deadlines and the application process for students applying to the BSN professional major can be found at http://www.utoledo.edu/nursing/BSN_checklist.html. BSN students must be admitted to either The University of Toledo (UT) or Bowling Green State University (BGSU) before applying through NursingCAS. UT or BGSU nursing advisor must provide permission when student is ready to apply through NursingCAS. |
Baccalaureate Nursing
Nursing is a challenging career that incorporates theory, complex technology and caring.
Baccalaureate nursing graduates provide research / theory based nursing care to healthy
and ill individuals, families and communities in a variety of health care settings
including clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, schools and outpatient facilities. As
a consortium nursing program, The University of Toledo (UT) and Bowling Green State
University (BGSU) make the Baccalaureate Nursing Program innovative and unique.
Accreditation and Approval
The College of Nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education
and has full approval of the Ohio Board of Nursing.
