    Director of Prospect Research

Gail joined the University of Toledo in the fall of 2004 as a 19-year veteran in the field of major donor prospect research. She began her development career at the University of Connecticut. In 1990, her husband's corporate move brought them to NW Ohio, and shortly thereafter, Gail established the first prospect research department at Bowling Green State University. During her 15 years at BGSU, she was promoted five times and greatly expanded their major donor research operation. She has been an active member of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement for 18 years. As a past president of the Ohio Prospect Research Network, in 2003 she was awarded that organization's Distinguished Service Award for her leadership role in Ohio's prospect research movement. Gail received her B.A. with honors in German from Allegheny College where she minored in mathematics and was deemed an Alden Scholar. She has taken post-graduate courses in art, architecture, Spanish, Euskara, and archaeology. A native Pennsylvanian, Gail has lived in seven US states as well as Germany and Spain. She believes in lifelong learning and counts reading, swimming, needlework, rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and trips to Canada among her favorite pastimes.
