Laura serves as the Senior Major Gifts Officer for Grateful Patient Program at the Health Science Campus and University of Toledo Medical Center. Laura connects with patients, alumni, donors, faculty and staff to garner philanthropic support to ensure funding for patient care, research and education for  the Health Science Campus and the UT Medical Center.

Prior to joining the Institutional Advancement staff at The University of Toledo in the Fall of 2012, she worked as the Regional Director of Development at Colorado State University and at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation where she was the Senior Director of Development for the Clinic’s Neurological Institute. Her other hospital based experience also includes Massachusetts General Hospital, Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) and The Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

Laura earned her Bachelor of Arts from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1992 and her Masters of Arts in Writing in 1996 from San Francisco State University.

In her spare time she enjoys writing, traveling and spending time with her husband and twins.
