Aaron Baker, Asst. Vice President

Aaron Baker joined the Government Relations staff in 2008. Mr. Baker returned to Toledo from Nashville, Tennessee in 2007, a little more than a decade after earning his B.A. in English Literature from the University of Toledo. During his time in the south Mr. Baker was an educator, an education researcher, and ultimately he became a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership, Policy and Organizations at Vanderbilt University and is currently completing his dissertation.

Currently Mr. Baker serves as Governmental Relations Specialist. As governmental Relations Specialist he helps coordinate the institution's political activities in Toledo, at the statehouse in Columbus, and in Washington. These activities include overseeing relations with the Ohio Board of Regents and tracking budget and education legislation. In addition, he carries out special assignments for the president of the University.
