    Patricia A. Camacho, Legislative Consultant

     Patricia A. Camacho is a Legislative Consultant for numerous clients in the Northwest Ohio region.  Patty currently is the Legislative Consultant for the Toledo Board of REALTORS;  the Home Builders Association of Greater Toledo;  and the Associated General Contractors of NW Ohio, and the Mechanical Contractors Association  Mrs. Camacho is also the Director for the BEST (Building Excellent Schools Together) Alliance.  The BEST Alliance is formed from the Alliance of Construction Professionals (ACP) and focuses on educating school board members throughout the State of Ohio and government jurisdictions on Responsible Contractor language to incorporate in their bid documents.  She also represents the University of Toledo as a consultant in their Governmental Affairs office and assists the University President on real estate issues, community relations and Science and Technology Corridor developments. She also serves as the Executive Secretary for the Toledo Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors Association.

    Patty serves as the Co-Chairperson of the Ohio Home Builders Association (OHBA) Government Affairs Committee and the OHBA Executive Committee.  She was recently appointed as an ex-officio member to the Lucas County Improvement Corporation on behalf of the University of Toledo.

    Mrs. Camacho is a graduate from the University of Akron with a BA in Political Science and a Certificate in Applied Politics from the Ray C. Bliss Institute of Applied Politics.  She began her career with the Revco Corporation as a Government Affairs Liaison and continued her professional career as Government Affairs Director with the Home Builders Association of Greater Akron.  Ms. Camacho came to Toledo in 1997 working as Manager of Development for two community development corporations.  She currently resides in Maumee, Ohio with her husband Robert Camacho.
