    Project SCOUT provides a single point of entry for service providers believing that work is an essential cultural ingredient and a major path to achieving a high quality of life.

    Through existing and customized job opportunities the program will provide a blend of services, supports, and resources (e.g. consultation, job coaching) leading to a win-win situation for both job seeker and university personnel.

    Project SCOUT represents a collaborative partnership between The University of Toledo; Toledo area school systems; and disability employment service organizations such as:

    • Ability Center of Greater Toledo
    • Harbor Behavioral Healthcare
    • Lucas County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (MR/DD)
    • Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission:
      • Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation (BVR)
      • Bureau of Services for the Visually Impaired (BSVI)
