Participates in established Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Programs that allow pharmacists to schedule and be reimbursed for clinical pharmacy services
Works with a patient's physician to address medical issues discovered during MTM appointments
Provides education and physician recommendations for employees of The Heinz Co. in Fremont, OH
Provides screenings for Kroger employees and patients
The resident will develop and initiate patient care programs within a supermarket chain community pharmacy setting when applicable.
Neighborhood Health Association
The Neighborhood Health Association (NHA) provides community support and health services for underserved individuals in the Toledo area.
Schedule and see patients in collaboration with NHA physicians through a Consult Agreement
Provide drug information support to NHA physicians and staff
The College of Pharmacy provides pharmacy services for the Neighborhood Health Association (including the Cordelia Martin Health Center).
