Community Pharmacy Residency Sites
Kroger Pharmacy
- A supermarket chain pharmacy with new pharmacy designs containing patient care consultation areas to enhance pharmaceutical care services provided
- Participates in established Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Programs that allow pharmacists to schedule and be reimbursed for clinical pharmacy services
- Works with a patient's physician to address medical issues discovered during MTM appointments
- Provides MTM and disease state coaching for employees of The Heinz Co. in Fremont, OH through the Living My Life program
- Provides screenings for Kroger employees and patients
- Provides MTM and disease state coaching for Kroger employees and members of the Teamsters Local 20
- The resident will develop and initiate patient care programs within a supermarket chain community pharmacy setting when applicable.
