This site allows you to search for federal announcements, retrieve guidelines and instructions, obtain application packages. You can sign up for automated notification of postings.

FedConnect
FedConnect links government acquisition and grants professionals with their vendor and grant applicant communities. You can sign up for automatic announcements. (Be forewarned, however, that most of these announcements are contract requests looking for specific services such as janitorial, purchase, BLM livestock needs, etc.)

Research.gov provides a number of services and information. It is a cooperative venture led by the National Sciene Foundation and involving NASA and the National Institute of Food and Agriculture Service (USDA/NIFA).
