Accrediation and Licensing
| Accreditation |
| Apple Tree Nursery School is accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs. |
Early childhood facilities accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs have voluntarily undergone a comprehensive process of internal self-study, invited external professional review to verify compliance with the academy's criteria for high-quality childhood programs, and have been found to be in substantial compliance with their criteria.
The academy administers the only national voluntary professionally sponsored accreditation system for all types of schools and child care centers. The academy is a division of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the nation's largest organization of early childhood educators. A copy of their criteria and a list of accredited programs can be obtained by visiting their web site or by calling their toll-free information line at 1-800-424-2460.
NAEYC Accreditation of Programs for Young Children is the mark of quality in early
childhood education, with thousands of programs currently accredited nationwide. NAEYC has developed a 90-second video that outlines the benefits of NAEYC-Accredited
programs for families seeking high-quality child care and early education. Please check it out at http://www.naeyc.org/families.
