Graduation

Inorder to earn the Doctor of Medicine degree, all University of Toledo College of Medicine graduates have completed what is arguably the most rigorous course of study of any profession.  Accordingly, graduation is the most special event of all the special events put together by Student Affairs.  Some students receive additional honors, including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, and almost forty other awards.

In just a few hours, these students will be able to be called by the title they've earned--Doctor.
	Honorary degrees were given to (front row) Dr. Raymond Sackler, Dr. Tim Porter-O'Grady, Dr. Walter Shelley, and Dr. Kenneth Shine.  Presenting honorary degrees were (back row) College of Nursing Professor Judy Didion, University President Dr. Lloyd Jacobs, College of Medicine Dean Dr. Jeffrey Gold, and College of Medicine Professor Dr. Maurice Manning.
