Primos
A program especially designed for first-year Latino students at UT. Primos priority is to help students ease into making the transition from high school to college by pairing them with trained peer mentors. Mentors coach and inform new students about University resources enabling them to become more successful than they already are. Contact Sabina Serratos, Director of The Office of Latino initiatives, at 419.530.2992 to find out more about the program.
If you are coming to UT as a freshman student and interested in having a mentor, please be sure to stop by the information table at your Rocket Launch or Rocket Transition Program. You will find a representative from the Office of Multicultural Student Success on hand to answer any questions you may have. Make sure you take the time to fill out a PRIMOS Program interest card.
Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you!
