Martin Luther King Jr. Benefit Dinner
The Martin Luther King Jr. Benefit Dinner is a fund
raising event to make one year scholarships available to qualified African
American, full time students of The University of Toledo.
Special Emphasis Months
The purpose of special emphasis month is to highlight
through cultural performances, speakers, and other related activities
historical information about African-Americans, Asian-Americans, Latino-Americans,
and Native-Americans to the University and surrounding communities. The
special emphasis months that are highlighted through the Multicultural
Student Center are as follows:
- Hispanic Heritage Month (September)
- Coming Out Month (October)
- Native-American Heritage Month (November)

Holidays Around the World (December)
- African American History Month (February)

Women's Month (March)
- Asian American Month (April)
These programs are available to all University of Toledo
students, faculty, and staff.
