These students need someone to take over their lease. The Office of Commuter Students and Off-Campus Services and the University of Toledo are not responsible for any replacement(s) you choose. Replacements - please be certain whether or not your landlord requires you to be included on the lease. Sometimes if you are not on the lease, and the landlord is not aware of your presence, it could result in problems including your removal from the unit. Protect yourself in case other roommates move out. Get a copy of the Roommate Agreement (Requires Acrobat Reader) online or from our office and go over it with any people who will be staying at the location. Be sure you're compatible. Be sure your financial or any obligations are clearly spelled out in writing.
