    Description

    What the program's all about.
The life@college program  is all about choices.  The program is an educational seminar like no other.  The presentation targets College freshmen who are being faced with a barrage of new issues in their lives.  The life@college program is designed to educate and equip young students to be able to make good decisions.  We hope to aid freshmen in not only surviving their first year in college, but in leading healthy and fulfilling lives while they're here.  The program utilizes drama, expert presenters, and interactive facilitation to effectively and memorably teach valuable life lessons.

    Presentations

    "
    Dying for a Drink"
    September 15 -19, 2008
There is a strong relationship between alcohol use and G.P.A.  We challenge students to take a look at college life and binge drinking.  The opening Party Scene will generate cheers and a sobering discussion.  Each student will have an opportunity to serve on the mock jury as they see students face difficult consequences for what they thought was harmless behavior.  This presentation gets everyone talking!

"Real World. Real Choices.  Get the Facts."
    October 6-10, 2008
Forming healthy relationships are an integral part of college life.  Unfortunately, college students are faced with potentially life-altering choices regarding relationships and sexual health.  This interactive session tackles serious subjects like HIV/ STD’s and sexual assault.  Participants will laugh and learn as they explore everything they need to know about healthy relationships in and out of college.

"Make it Happen: The Winners Edge"
    October 27 & 28, 2008  TWO DAYS ONLY!
Successful people have a ‘winner’s edge’.   This foundation of solid character traits and leadership skills set students up for lifelong success.    National presenter and author, Bruce Boguski, will challenge first year students to reach their fullest potential, professionally and personally.   Students will find this interactive program to be dynamic, entertaining, and insightful.
