    CPR/AED Professional Level Rescuer
    Class Information
    • 2 year CPR/AED  professional level certification (certification is 2 years when taken as a stand-alone course)
    • Red Cross CPR book & resuscitation mask included
    • This class includes adult, child and infant skills; the role of a professional rescuer, disease transmission prevention, use of a pocket mask and bag valve mask, and two rescuer skills are also covered

    Prerequisites/Requirements

    • No prerequisites
    • Must attend and fully participate in entire class
    • Must pass all skill checks and receive an 80% or higher on written exams

    Class Length

    • Training is approximately 8 hours.
    • If you are taking a one day class (Saturday classes), you will need to bring a box lunch or money for a 30 minute lunch break.

    Cost

    • The cost is $50 for Camp Adventure students, $55 for UT Students or Rec Members, $65 for Non-Members.
    • Participants who fail a certification class will not receive a credit or a refund.

    Download, print, and complete the Registration Packet and drop off, mail in, or fax in the completed registration packet to the Student Recreation Center Office or stop in the Student Recreation Center Office, fill out a registration packet, and pay with cash, check, VISA, or MasterCard.
