American Red Cross Certification Classes

Registration:
- is open to the community, UT students, and UT employees including the UTMC
- must be submitted 5 days prior to the start of a class or the individual may be denied participation in that class, and the class may be subject to cancellation
- must be submitted with payment to be considered registered for the class, or the individual may be dropped from the class
- will be denied if a class is full, the Rec does not make waiting lists for classes
- must have the release/consent portion signed before the start of a class
Cancellations
- If a class is cancelled or rescheduled by the REC, registrants will receive a voucher good toward the same class held at a future date within the academic year or receive a full refund.
- Refunds are mailed in the form of a UT check and processing takes 3-4 weeks.
Dropping a Class
- If a registrant drops a class with at least 5 days notice, s/he will receive a voucher or a refund minus a $15 processing fee. If a registrant drops a class with less than a 5 day notice, no credit or refund will be issued.
- To drop or reschedule a class participants should contact Jeff Witt by calling 419-530-3701 or by emailing him at Jeffery.witt@utoledo.edu.
Failing a Class

The University of Toledo Student Recreation Center is an authorized provider of American Red Cross certification programs. All classes are held at the UT Student Recreation Center located on Oakwood off Douglas Road (between Dorr and University Hills Blvd.). We are happy to accommodate participants of all abilities.
