Arriving as a New Student
New resident move in begins on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 and runs through Thursday, August 20, 2009. Students will be given a move-in date based on which residence hall and floor they are assigned. This schedule will be emailed to students in July.
When students arrive, they will receive instructions on where to park and unload your belongs. Upper class students will be on-hand to assist you in moving your belongings into your residence hall.
Arriving as a Returning StudentReturning student move in occurs on Saturday, August 22, 2009 and Sunday, August 23, 2009. Returners can move into their assigned residence hall on either of the move-in dates.
Early ArrivalsStudents wishing to arrive early may do so beginning Sunday, August 16, 2009 for an additional daily charge. No advance reservation is required. Students who are participating in a University-sponsored program an/or University employment and are required to be on-campus early must coordinate their move in date with their University contact person.
All students are expected to check into their residence hall by 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 23, 2009.Those students who do not check into the hall by that time will be considered no shows and forfeit their housing assignment. If you have extenuating circumstances that prevent you from moving into the residence halls by that time, please contact the Office of Residence Life at 419.530.2941 or reslife@utnet.utoledo.edu.
