All PSEOP students who plan to attend The University of Toledo after high school graduation are required to attend Rocket Launch (New Student Orientation). You will receive mailings in the spring regarding Rocket Launch. If you have any questions concerning orientation, please contact the Rocket Launch office at 419.530.1267.

This fee must be paid at the Cashier’s Office located in Rocket Hall, room 1790, prior to visiting the ID Center. The ID Center can be contacted at 419.530.5842/5843.
Books:PSEOP students must return their books on Thursday or Friday of exam week of the semester they are taking classes. Failure to do so will result in students being billed for those books not returned. All policies and steps to be taken concerning book returns will be given to the students in a handout at orientation and covered in detail.
Supplies are the financial responsibility of each student.
If students are going to add or
drop a class they must contact a PSEOP adviser before or during the
add/drop period. Students cannot add or drop a class without the PSEOP
adviser’s knowledge. Fall semester add/drop period ends on September 4.
Instructor’s signatures are required to add a class from August 23-September 4.
After September 4 students cannot add or drop a class. Spring semester add/drop
period ends on January 22. Instructor’s signatures are required to add a class
from January 10-22. After January 22 students cannot add or drop a class. ** Drops will be processed according to
university policy. If students drop a class and do not replace the class with
an equal number of credit hours, they will be billed for that class according
to UT’s drop fee policy. Contact your
PSEOP adviser for information on the drop policy. The Ohio Department of
Education will be billed for the charges incurred.
Students can withdraw from a class after the add/drop period ends. A “W” will appear on your college transcripts. The last day to withdraw from a class for the fall semester is October 26. The last day to withdraw from a class for the spring semester is March 21, 2008. ** IMPORTANT NOTE: If a student withdraws from a class at UT, the high school (public school students) or state of Ohio (private school students) has the right to bill the student for that class. Students will need to contact their high school guidance counselor concerning the amount they will be billed.
Registration holds are put on student accounts for the following reasons: parking tickets, library fines, lab breakage, and overdue accounts. Transcripts will not be sent to your high school if a registration hold is on your account. This could affect your graduation. It is imperative that any holds be cleared from your account as soon as possible. Registration holds will also keep a student from registering for the next term.
Fall, 2007, classes will begin on Monday, August 20. Spring, 2008, classes will begin on Monday, January 7.
Option A will not affect your high school grade point average. Grades received under this option are a permanent part of the student’s college transcript only. Option B class grades become a part of your high school and college transcripts.
