    Targeted Industry Grants

The UT SkillsMAX Center receives an appropriation of funds via the EnterpriseOhio Network for the exclusive purpose of providing grant funded training and training related services to Ohio companies strategically important to the state’s economy. This program is implemented through UT’s membership in the EnterpriseOhio Network.

Training grants are available only through an application process to the two-year public campuses for specific use in their service partnerships with eligible employers. These grants are applied jointly through the two-year campus and the employer to reduce the employer’s cost of specific worker trainer or related services provided by the two-year campus. Guidelines are provided to the campus for identifying eligible services and per trainee funding limits. The application is brief and is completed jointly with the campus and employer.
