Out-of-State Award
Award: $9,120 per year
Minimum Requirements: 2.75 cumulative high school GPA or a 21 ACT/990 SAT
This award guarantees a scholarship equal to UT's out-of-state surcharge (estimated at $9,120) for students outside of Ohio and Monroe County, Mich., who are admissible to the University. This award is a four-year, renewable scholarship. In addition to the out-of-state award, eligible students can receive the scholarship amounts in the scholarship grid based on their cumulative high school GPA, ACT/SAT scores, and strength of curriculum.
Students are automatically considered for this scholarship with a completed UT application for admission, official high school transcripts and official ACT and/or SAT scores.
Renewal criteria includes maintaining a 3.0 cumulative GPA and earning 30 UT credit hours within two semesters of the academic year. For students who do not meet these requirements, UT maintains an appeal process detailed in the full terms and conditions.
