Curriculum

The program offers in depth course work in Research Methods, Multivariate Statistical Methods, courses on basic management functions, and seminars/workshops on current research in OM/Manufacturing, Supply Chains, Marketing/CRM and Information Technology, as well as a workshop on teaching approaches and communication skills. The end of fall program is a capstone experience where the participants come back to present and share their research project progress and receive feedback from their research mentors for future improvements.

The program has nine modules, spanning seven weeks during the summer and two days in the fall, as shown below.

Module 2		Research Methods for Business
Module 3		Multivariate Statistical Methods for Research
Module 4		Seminar/Workshop: Current Research in Manufacturing/Service Operations Management
Module 5		Seminar/Workshop: Current Research in Supply Chain Management and Interface of Marketing and Services
Module 6		Seminar/Workshop: Current Research in Technological Management of Information, Marketing, Sales and CRM
Module 7		Workshops on Teaching Approaches in Business School and Faculty
Module 8		Seminar/Workshop: Current Research in Marketing, Sales and CRM
End-Of-Fall (2 Days)
Module 9		Workshop on Research Progress: Presentations, feedback, planning for publications

During the seven-week summer program, each student will be paired with a faculty research mentor who will collaborate on a student-chosen research project for a full year beyond the summer program, resulting in a research paper ready for conference presentations and later publication.
