Dr. Shahnawaz Muhammed graduated in 2006.  His dissertation is entitled "Antecedents and impacts of knowledge management practices in virtual knowledge work: An empirical study in manufacturing context". Dr. Muhammed completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in India and has worked in Saudi Arabia, India and US for about five years prior to joining the Ph.D. program at Toledo. His industry experience includes software design, development, and testing for a variety of industries, and computer aided design and engineering consulting for petroleum industry. His research interests are in Knowledge Management, Information Systems for Knowledge Management, and Knowledge Management in Supply Chains. He has several refereed academic proceedings and has presented at various conferences. He is a member of AIS, APICS, ASQ, DSI, and Beta Gamma Sigma. [Email].
