Dr. Michael Tracey graduated in December 1996. He was employed at Iowa State University from January of 1997 until May 1997 as a visiting assistant professor. In September of 1997 he accepted a tenure-track appointment at the rank of assistant professor at Purdue University at West Lafayette. His dissertation, Logistics/purchasing effectiveness, manufacturing flexibility and firm performance: Instrument development and causal model analysis, won a National Association of Purchasing Management Dissertation Proposal Award in 1995. He has published nine journal articles including one in the Journal of Operations Management. He accepted a tenure-tract position at the University of Idaho in August 2000. [Email].
