Your UTAD and Email Accounts

WHAT IS UTAD?

UTAD is a personalized account that allows you to use many of UT's online resources. Your UTAD account gives you important access to the myUT portal, a secure personalized web environment that provides a single access point for all the information you need to make your UT experience complete. 

With your UTAD username and password, and the myUT portal found at http://myut.utoledo.edu, you can: 

• Access Student Self Service, where you can register for classes, view transfer credit and more
• Register for orientation
• Access your University email
• Get important UT updates
• Access your online classes via Blackboard
• Create your eFolio
• And more!

 FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW TO ACTIVATE YOUR UTAD ACCOUNT

1. Go to myUTaccount.utoledo.edu
2. Enter your Social Security Number or Rocket ID and your eight (8) digit birth date (no spaces between numbers). Click on Find Account.
3. Your UTAD username will appear on the left side of the screen under Your Account. It is very important that you write down your UTAD username and remember your password!

USING YOUR UT EMAIL

Your email address is typically your firstname.lastname@rockets.utoledo.edu (sometimes a number is added after your last name, like “rocky.rocket2”). If you are not sure of your email address, look it up on the UTAD Account Management page. 

After you log in to your account through the myUT Portal, check your email by clicking on the Student tab:

• Click on “Access your Rocket Email”
• Type in your UTAD username and password
• Click Login
