Ohio National Guard Scholarship

It is the responsibility of the National Guard student to complete all the necessary paperwork for their 100% tuition scholarship with their Guard unit.  The Ohio National Guard Scholarship is in addition to the GI Bill.  The Military Service Center does not process the National Guard scholarship paperwork.  We will be happy to assist you with any basic questions, but the approval for the scholarship must be through your unit.  You may contact the Ohio National Guard Tuition Grant office at either 1.888.400.6484 or 1.614.336.7143.   Currently the application deadlines for the Ohio National Guard Scholarship are: 

• July 1 for Fall semester
• November 1 for Spring semester
• April 1 for Summer semester

After the initial application for the ONG scholarship has been made, all future applications may be done online at www.ongsp.org.  In addition to submitting your National Guard Scholarship application, you will also need to contact the Military Service Center each semester for the GI Bill.  In order to qualify for the scholarship, the student must maintain at least six (6) credits each semester
