Military Recognition Cord

Red, White and Blue Military Recognition Cords

A new UT tradition featuring red, white and blue recognition cords.  Graduates who have served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces will be adorned with a red, white, and blue military honor cord recognizing their distinguished service and sacrifices at each commencement ceremony. 

Students graduating who are eligible to receive a cord should bring their graduation notification letter and proof of military service (military ID, DD-214 or you are receiving benefits through the Military Service Center).
