Vern Snyder was appointed to this position July 1, 2002. He has held similar positions at Eastern Kentucky University and Youngstown State University. Snyder is a graduate of West Virginia University with a master's degree in music education. He and his spouse, Sue, reside in Sylvania. They have two grown sons, Matthew and Christopher.
