The Center for Creative Instruction collaboration reaches all corners of the university.
As a member of the Division of External Affairs, CCI works closely with the Marketing Office, the Office of Equity and Diversity and the Admission Office to incorporate web and interactive technology into UT’s recruitment, diversity and external marketing efforts. Projects include an interactive view book, personalized and custom web solutions, email campaigns, integration of social media, mobile applications and other technology infused recruitment and marketing tools.
In partnership with the Office of Communications, CCI helps bring interactive technology to UT’s communications efforts. From development and management of myUT to blogging and social media integration, CCI is helping communicate UT messages.
UT faculty and researchers also work with CCI to enhance classroom teaching, continuing education and partnerships with other universities and community members. Projects include multimedia components for courses, online training, educational modules, and online continuing education.
Additionally, CCI is a technical partner with faculty and researchers for educational, service and other grant project opportunities. CCI meets with faculty during the grant proposal process to offer advice, direction and funding options in an effort to differentiate UT grant proposals from other grant submissions and secure adequate funding for technology needs.
