    Mission Statement

    The Center for Women embraces the mission of the University of Toledo by supporting learning, discovery and engagement, and by enabling women to achieve their highest potential in an environment of diversity, respect and freedom of expression.

    Our Values and Beliefs:

    • We believe that the ECW should foster women-friendly educational environments.
    • We believe that the ECW should provide access to technology and thereby enhance women's ability to be better global citizens.
    • We believe that the ECW should foster and value women's leadership styles.
    • We believe that the ECW should nurture an appreciation of diversity and civility.
    • We believe that the ECW should educate women as to their rights to dignity and safety in their education, work, community, and homes.
    • We believe that the ECW should foster the women's community based on valuing the life choices of all women.
