The Women’s Circle
2nd and 4th Thursday of the month 6 - 7:30 p.m.
The Women’s Circle is an awareness group that celebrates the unique qualities of women.
Participants will be required to provide basic contact information that will remain
confidential.
The Women’s Corps
The Women’s Corps provides an organized way to volunteer for worthy causes on campus
and in the community. Join this social volunteer team and become an ambassador for
the Eberly Center, receiving regular communication about meaningful and fun volunteer
opportunities
Scholarships for Women
The Eberly Center administrates several scholarships specifically for women. To apply
for scholarships, students must have a current FASFA on file with the UT Office of
Financial Aid. Most scholarship applications are due by March 15 for the upcoming
school year.
Referral Services
The mission of the Eberly Center is to empower women to achieve success. In meeting
this mission, the staff will put anyone in contact with appropriate support services
both at UT and in the Toledo area.
Finance Fridays Last Friday of each month (holidays excluded)
1 - 3:30 p.m., by appointment only
This one-on-one personal consultation program is designed to provide participants
with general information on a variety of financial concerns. These sessions are facilitated
by Betsy Gouvernayre, a financial advisor with Ameriprise. She will be prepared to
answer questions related to investments, retirement plans, personal budgeting and
more. Additional appointments can be arranged based on facilitator’s availability.
Return to Learning
Individual appointments are available throughout the semester providing guidance to
women considering a college education and wanting to learn more about the admissions
process, degree programs and financial aid.
Return to Work
Individual appointments are available throughout the semester providing guidance
to women who are looking for opportunities to get into the work force or change their
career path. The staff of the Office of Career Services can provide feedback on resumes,
cover letters, interviewing skills and career opportunities.
