Future plans for the center are:

• Audiovisual focus, new and additional computer software licenses, and center wiring for Internet access, utilized to enhance teaching and research
• Holdings that complement literature on educational leadership in the Carlson Library
• Expansion of the scannable survey support for department projects, theses, and dissertations; and university assessment
• Periodical subscriptions The Chronicle of Higher Education and Education Week
• Sponsorship of a major symposium annually or every other year.
