Higher Education Program
Vision
Higher Education Program students are involved in a culture of scholarship and accessibility, studying with faculty who work with post-secondary organizations to create programs, courses, and services to meet their needs.
Mission
The Higher Education Program prepares masters and doctoral students to become leaders who will shape the future of American public and private higher education.
Degree Programs
The M.Ed. program focuses on Higher Education and is offered in two tracks:
- An On-Campus Master's Track, and
- An Off-Campus Professional Master's Cohort that begins in the summer of 2013.
- There is also a joint degree program allowing students to work concurrently on a JD degree from the College of Law and the M.Ed. degree from the Higher Education Program.
The Ph.D. program focuses on Administration and Policy Analysis, with an on-campus Four-Year College and University Leadership Cohort that begins in the Fall of 2014, and an Ohio Community College Leadership Cohort that begins in the Fall of 2016 in Columbus.
