Nurse Paralegal
Looking for a change? Tired of work shifts? Want a new opportunity to apply your clinical skills in a completely new field? The University of Toledo offers a certificate program in Nurse Paralegal.
To enter, students must be a Registered Nurse, holding at least an associate degree, and having a minimum of 2,000 hours of nursing experience.
UT's Nurse Paralegal Program is approved by the American Bar Association. This certificate
is designed with working nurses in mind. Day and evening courses are offered. Some
course work may also be taken on-line, over the Internet.
Students take a total of seven legal courses, including an on-site Internship.
Nurse Paralegals primarily work for law firms specializing in personal injury, medical
malpractice, workers' compensation, wrongful death, and social secuirty. They may
also be employed by state and federal agencies, insurance companies, and hospital
risk management groups.
NURSE PARALEGAL CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
