My piece is a vector drawing. I hand drew each color to create the picture using Adobe Indesign. The passenger is supposed to represent a spiritual being taking over the wheel for the distressed driver. The piece represents issues of loneliness and depression.

My piece for the Billboard project started with the idea of a modern day traveler taking photos of Toledo with his cell phone.  I explored multiple areas of Toledo including the Maumee River, the University and downtown.  After taking the photos of Toledo, I took a photograph of my hands holding my cell phone.  I was able to combine the photo of my hands with each photo of the city using Photoshop.   The final product represents a film still of a man traveling through Toledo and capturing the amazing sites.

In my photographic series, Daddy's Little Girl, I make a visual journey back through the years to revisit the homes, rooms, and moments where memories run deep with the photographs of my father and I. The vivid, colorful snapshots, many taken by my mother, represent a time when my family was whole and my memories were the happy, carefree days of innocence.  I blend past and present together by physically bringing those precious moments frozen in time back to their origins.

This image is depicting a social scene in which individuals are shown at a table. This photo was taken through the window of a restaurant while passing by, and the fleeting moment is heightened by the reflected lights. The atmosphere created by the mid-gestures of the subjects and the dim lighting of the restaurant builds a subtle tension that gives the image its open narrative quality.

These photographs are about sprawl.  Sprawl effects our interactions with the planet and eachother.  As we spread further from the center of a city we put space between ourselves both physically and emotionally, harming ourselves and the planet with an increasing web of isolation.

All 3 of my images were inspired by scenes from the Bourne Trilogy. The city in the rear view mirror was inspired by the numerous car chase scenes. The woman on the park bench reading the newspaper represented an undercover agent. The silhouetted person walking down the alley referenced a good/bad guy in pursuit of someone on foot.

The working class man struggles with the hardship of work, attacks on the working class, and the overwhelming pressures of society.The hardship of man is ever changing. It is unjust to categorize a working class man. He is defined by his individuality, his work, his story. His response to the hardship changes his nature, his individuality.
