Graduate Assistantships

Assistantships are available on a competitive basis to students pursuing a graduate level program in the University of Toledo Department of Music. This also includes those students in the Master of Music Education program, even though those students will receive their degree in the Judith Herb College of Education, Health Science and Human Service. Successful applicants will be those who demonstrate excellent communication skills and musical ability.

Award
Assistantship includes monetary stipend and University tuition

Details
For consideration, prospective students must be admitted to the Department of Music and the College of Graduate Studies--either in the Master of Music Performance (College of Visual and Performing Arts) or the Master of Music in Music Education (Judith Herb College of Education, Health Science and Human Service). Annual stipend varies, depending on the amount of service rendered, the nature of service, and the qualifications of the student applicant. Our graduate assistantships usually provide a waiver of a substantial portion of both in-state and out-of-state tuition.
