Kaye joined the Department of Theatre and Film in 1993. Prior to joining UT, she was Faculty Costume Designer at Murray State University and Visiting Instructor of Costume Design at Idaho State University. She has taught costume design and construction since 1988, and has worked professionally at Center Stage, Baltimore, and the Santa Fe Opera. Kaye received her MFA in Costume Design from Southern Illinois University and her Bachelor of Science in Education from Blue Mountain College.
