Angela Riddel

Angela is the Promotions Specialist for the Departments of Theatre & Film, Music, and Art. She has been with UT since June of 2007. Prior to that, she worked for several years as a freelance marketing professional. Two years after graduating from UT with a B.A. in Communications, she began working with WTOL-TV as a promotions producer in 1990. AT WTOL, she wrote copy for ads, edited commercials that promoted the station, and managed the on-air schedule of station promotion and public service announcements. While at WTOL, Angela began pursuing a marketing degree with UT's College of Business, which she completed in 2004.  

In 2000, she left WTOL to work for CorpComm Group, Inc., where she was a video editor, script writer and project coordinator. As Promotions Specialist at UT, Angela is responsible for the promotion of each of the departments' major events. She promotes art exhibits, concerts and recitals, films, and theatre productions. If you have any questions about any upcoming UT visual or performing arts events, Angela is the one to see.

Angela is also very active in the local advertising community. She is an active member of the Advertising Club of Toledo and was the club's 2008-2009 president. Over the years, she has served on or chaired various committees including ADBid, public service, and the ADDY's, the Ad Club's local advertising industry award program.
