Aging Resources
The Center for Successful Aging (CSA) has a variety of resources available to older
adults and their families, health care professionals, faculty, students and anyone
interested in learning more about aging issues. Visit our Age Related Web Sites page for links to resources available on the Internet.
The CSA Loan Library contains books, media and information that may be checked out
by patients, students, and faculty. The library is also available to the public and
is located in Suite 138 of the Glendale Medical Center, 3355 Glendale Ave., University
of Toledo Health Science Campus. If you would like to receive any of the information,
just send an e-mail to ctrsuccessfulaging@utoledo.edu with your request.

Savvy seniors and those who care about them can call 1-800-222-2225 for a free copy of the Resource Directory for Older People, a comprehensive listing of services and organizations compiled by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and the Administration on Aging (AoA). The directory contains listings of almost 300 public and private organizations. "The recently updated resource directory is like a Yellow Pages specifically for older people," said Dr. Richard J. Hodes, the NIA director. "We are pleased to join forces with the Administration on Aging on this project." . For more info: www.aoa.gov and www.nia.nih.gov . The Ability Center of Greater Toledo offers the Options for Tomorrow program to facilitate the development of future care plans for adults with disabilities.
