New Vacation Policy 

Update 08-14-09

The leave categories are currently being updated since the Vacation Policy went into effect August 1st.  All new leave categories will be updated by the end of next week.  Please check back at that time.

Update 07-23-09

The vacation policy was recently revised to clarify the vacation procedure to be used when an employee changes positions. 

Update 06-29-09

Dr. Jacobs has approved a new vacation policy as recommended by senior leadership after several months of reviewing comments and concerns from employees.  The new policy is scheduled to take effect August 1, 2009. 

Over the next few weeks the payroll department will be working on setting up Banner to reflect these changes.  Remember that members of the bargaining units will continue to operate under the vacation time accrual rates as outlined in their agreements.
