FOREIGN TRAVEL INSURANCE AND ASSISTANCE SERVICES

Through The University of Toledo's participation in the Inter-University Council Insurance Consortium (IUC-IC), UT faculty, staff, student interns and trustees (referred to as "Covered Persons") have access to foreign travel insurance and travel assistance service offered by Chartis.  Chartis is one of the insurance companies providing coverage IUC-IC members.  The insurance and travel assistance services are available to you when traveling outside the U.S. and Canada for the purpose of conducting University business or fulfilling course requirements. 

Foreign Travel Insurance: If you are a Covered Person listed above, click here for information on coverge for general liability, excess auto liability, repatriation of remains and travel accident and sickness coverage.

Foreign Travel Assistance Card:  Make sure you take a Travel Guard Assistance Card with you when traveling abroad.  It provides the account and contact information you will need in order to access any assistance.  You can click here for a copy.
