- hold an associate's degree in early childhood education from an accredited institution,
- have earned a GPA of 2.7 or higher, and
- be currently employed with an early care and education program serving infants, toddlers or preschoolers.
Fast Track Grant – To be eligible for the maximum scholarship amount you must be Pell Grant eligible, as determined through filing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Must have a 3.0 GPA at time of application
- Pell Grant Eligible
- Grant is awarded through the UT Achievement Award
Sample Course of Study
Each semester consists of a 16-semester hour module of coursework and job-embedded field experiences. Students complete the field-based activities in their classroom. This program requires that the core curriculum and an associates must be completed before a bachelor degree is granted.
