Student Computing Services

All services listed below are provided exclusively to students majoring in the Judith Herb College of Education, Health Science and Human Service.

Account Maintenance
Email, password, and account troubleshooting services are available in HH2400A. Students experiencing any issues with email, account passwords, etc. may stop by HH2400A to meet with a technician for resolution

Poster Printing
The printing of large displays for academic purposes are available. A Poster Printing Agreement form is required and is available on the Forms page. Instructions for creating displays to be printed are also included on the form.

Lamination
Students can laminate documents up to sizes of 17” x 11”. Documents can be left with a technician for laminating. Technicians will notify students when the documents have been completed.

Personal PC Repair and Virus Scanning
Students experiencing personal computer problems may bring their laptop or desktop in for repair. Repair is limited to software related issues (viruses, malware, program malfunction). We are unable to repair hardware or physically damaged devices.

Color Printing
Students can print color documents, printed documents count against Judith Herb College of Education, Health Science and Human Service individual print quota.

Hours: Mon – Fri, 9am – 10pm; Mon – Thurs 8am – 10pm, Fri 8am – 5pm

Mobile Laptop Reservation
Carts containing laptops can be reserved by instructors for classroom purposes. Instructors may use these laptops to enhance the classroom learning environment. Instructors must contact the Student Computing office (HH2400A) or the Carver Center (GH3000) to reserve these laptops

Equipment Checkout
Students can checkout equipment (laptops, cameras, camcorders, projectors) for use in academic projects.

Hours: Mon – Thurs 8am – 10pm, Fri 8am – 5pm

Video Editing and Conversion
Students needing to edit video and/or conversion of video formatting for academic purposes can use Carver Center video editing rooms.

Computer Lab Reservations
Classrooms with integrated computer systems and classroom mediation may be reserved for lecture and training purposes. Instructors may reserve these rooms by contacting the Carver Center (GH3000)
