    Entrance and Exit Interviews
Entrance and exit interviews are conducted by the Student Financial Aid Office. They are required by law for all students who are receiving a federal student loan (e.g. Federal Perkins Loan, Primary Care Loan, Federal Stafford Loan-subsidized/ unsubsidized)

    Entrance Interviews

Entrance interviews are conducted with all new students and students who are first-time borrowers at UT. They are conducted to inform students about their rights and responsibilities regarding student loans, to inform them of the terms of their student loans and to assist them in expense and budget planning as they begin their medical school career. Students who are unable to attend a scheduled entrance interview session may complete this requirement either by scheduling an individual entrance interview with their counselor or by completing the online entrance counseling from the Financial Aid Resource Links.

    Exit Interviews

Exit interviews are conducted for all graduating students and students who are leaving UT for any reason. Exit interviews are conducted to inform students of their rights and responsibilities regarding student loans, to review their payment terms and options and to assist with debt management counseling. Students who are unable to attend a scheduled exit interview session may complete this requirement either by scheduling an individual interview with their counselor or by completing online exit counseling from the Financial Aid Resource Links.
